Here's how the cardboard tube stars turned out. Spray painted with silver with decorative buttons hot glued to the centers. I also made some bookmarks out of Toblerone boxes and sticky mat papers, finished with some ribbons and beads.
Hi Robyn, I'm a new reader and love your blog and you've got me saving all the toilet paper and paper towel rolls! I want to give you a personal invite and also to your friends and readers to come visit my blog and enter my Contest and Giveaway. Thanks, Mollye
I create one of a kind (OOAK) art dolls, altered couture, aromatic textile homewares, scrapbooks, paper craft gifts and vintage redux - decorative objects that add magic to our lives. Beading, applique, surface embellishment, stitchery, scrapbooking ideas. I invite you to follow the crafting journey of a professional artisan exploring the intersection of craft and art.
In a career spanning more than twenty-five years I have been a costume, scenic and lighting designer and worked in every kind of theater from community to educational to “broadway” style, both in Australia and the US. I was a freelance Production Designer of independent films before repurposing my life as a homeschooling mother and textile artist. Now I craft and write - "Crafting for a Greener World" column for Natural Life Magazine, screenplays and musings about creativity, alternative education and mindful parenting.
