Recent sales


Eight, count 'em, eight hearts have flown out of my store, and this Moon and Stars Dream Star doll has also been sold offline. It's ironic since I have just entered her in a Winter colors contest over at Craft Stylish. If you feel called to go there and make a comment or hit the "love it" button, I won't complain.

I have about four in progress dolls, but I'm putting my attention on the promised Haiti doll. Here's her start - a Dream Doll about 14 inches tall with an internal wire armature for support.

Blanket basket

Or so I intend to use what has turned out to be an immense crocheted basket made from at least 200 grocery sacks. Using double and single crochet and scorning a pattern, this is what the new basket looks like. Next to it, the last smaller but just as functional basket for comparison. The large one is roughly 18 inches high, and has a diameter of 22 inches.

Barbie Redux Doll

Here are some pictures, taken by my husband, of my Barbie Redux doll, "Winged Victory". The exhibit starts August 7th with a reception in the evening. I'll be taking along some of my lovely ginger bread cake. There will be a Barbie look alike dress up contest and a treasure hunt. Her head still moves. I figure you could really screw with someone's mind - every time they look at the statue she's looking in a different direction. Heh, heh, heh.
