Diorama Contest!



I'm very excited! My next article in Natural Life is about making miniature dioramas - and features a CONTEST! The first prize is one of my custom Dream Star Dolls in your choice of colors. Jayn is also contributing a pair of her sweet little bead earrings.



We just love making miniature dioramas of all kinds, using recycled packaging as the foundation. Something fun to do for spring!

Blanket basket

Or so I intend to use what has turned out to be an immense crocheted basket made from at least 200 grocery sacks. Using double and single crochet and scorning a pattern, this is what the new basket looks like. Next to it, the last smaller but just as functional basket for comparison. The large one is roughly 18 inches high, and has a diameter of 22 inches.

Barbie Redux Doll

Here are some pictures, taken by my husband, of my Barbie Redux doll, "Winged Victory". The exhibit starts August 7th with a reception in the evening. I'll be taking along some of my lovely ginger bread cake. There will be a Barbie look alike dress up contest and a treasure hunt. Her head still moves. I figure you could really screw with someone's mind - every time they look at the statue she's looking in a different direction. Heh, heh, heh.
