Blog Giveaway! March is National Craft Month.

I'm going to be working on a commissioned art doll and costume for my friend in Australia, writing a how-to article about smash books/art journals for Natural Life Magazine, making finished examples for my upcycling book proposal, and working very hard on the art and layouts for my soon to be announced publication venture.

What will you be doing? Make a comment here by March 10 telling me about your crafting plans for the month and be in the drawing to receive a beaded Wish Doll with your choice of Indian Musk or Lavender scented sachet. Tell your friends!
Wish Doll with votive candle, aromatic sachet and instructions. Colors vary.

I'm going to be doing artist trading cards, collages, and altered books (eep!) with kids at Illinois' InHome homeschool conference mid month. I'm busy cutting cards, prepping books, and making glue dots right now. :)

She is adorable!!! How could anyone not smile with all those colors? Whoa, would you look at those cute feet! I WISH, WISH, WISH I get some crafting time this month, that's my wish. (Would a wishing doll help me do it?) Hmmm. Crafting plans... I would like to make a stamp with my sweet fairy on it; I hope to try using an embossing folder & gesso using the Perfect Crafting Pouch to stop the paint from sticking; and as always, I plan to keep my eyes open for new things to try. Good question, Robin--made me think!

I love your wish dolls - and that they come with a sachet is perfect!
This month, I'm trying ATC's for the first time. I'm also making charms and a charm bracelet; creating paper flowers and working in an art journal. Oh, and my favorite crafting time - making art with my 3 year old grandson!
I simply have to get my name in for this! Let me see - I have three more denim jackets to make, two small knitting projects to complete, and the class work for the Embroider, Embellish, Create online course I've been doing. Oh, and also work on the 'Road To My House' class work too. I think I have enough to keep me out of mischief for the month!

I don't have any crafting plans, my skills aren't strong in that artistic area. I will be working on my picture book dummy and updating my portfolio for a conference in April. Good luck with your March plans!
Heather I like your list of alphabet related activities for kids. Sounds crafty to me. Good luck at your conference.

Thanks everyone so far, for joining the fun. Tell your friends!

I plan to spend lots of time with the sewing machine: diaper bags, aprons and recycled t-shirt scarves are on the list (so far ;))
And I'll toss in some porcelain work, too, because I'm on a roll lately :D
