Blue and White WIP







Here are WIP shots of my latest commission, intended to evoke Royal Copenhagen blue and white china ware. I was so lucky to have a sample of this linen blend toille fabric, once more from my MIL's gift stash. I haven't sealed the face yet. Below are petals for the skirt from some other fabric.

Or so I intend to use what has turned out to be an immense crocheted basket made from at least 200 grocery sacks. Using double and single crochet and scorning a pattern, this is what the new basket looks like. Next to it, the last smaller but just as functional basket for comparison. The large one is roughly 18 inches high, and has a diameter of 22 inches.

This is a doll that I am sending to the raffle at Life Is Good in Portland, Oregon starting later this week. ... And here is the first photo of my latest doll that will be for sale. She has a darker complexioned face, is made of bright summery fabric and her charm says "Trust in Your Dreams".
