More Paper Beads

I've made a batch of beads using the very pretty pages from a couple of homewares catalogs with a rather nice matt finish paper. Here they are all set up to dry after being sealed with Royal Coat decoupage finish. The whole process really does make a very solid, rigid bead.

oh I have always meant to try and make these beads. They look awesome. Fab idea to reuse styrefoam. I cant stand that stuff and they pack everything with it these days. awesome beads, Excellent idea with the styrofoam
Thanks Melanie. I have an idea to make some standing sculptures from reclaimed styrofoam. I want to put together the shapes, using toothpicks or skewers, then cover it with plaster bandage - the kind you dip in water to activate. I've used it before for theater props and it takes paint very well once dry. It's a back burner idea.
