New Dolls



This is a doll that I am sending to the raffle at Life Is Good in Portland, Oregon starting later this week.... And here is the first photo of my latest doll that will be for sale. She has a darker complexioned face, is made of bright summery fabric and her charm says "Trust in Your Dreams".

Beautiful, Robyn! I know where my raffle tickets will be going. Where do you find those silver charms with the words? I'd love to get some of those.

I found a number of nice sentiment charms in both silver and brass colored metal at Michaels in the jewelry section. I also love the ones that say "Be Here Now", which seems very apropos!

Still failing to get my IT calendar idea off the ground - maybe for next year????

Using double and single crochet and scorning a pattern, this is what the new basket looks like. Next to it, the last smaller but just as functional basket for comparison. Barbie Redux Doll

Here are some pictures, taken by my husband, of my Barbie Redux doll, "Winged Victory". The exhibit starts August 7th with a reception in the evening. I'll be taking along some of my lovely ginger bread cake. There will be a Barbie look alike dress up contest and a treasure hunt. Her head still moves. I figure you could really screw with someone's mind - every time they look at the statue she's looking in a different direction. Heh, heh, heh.
