I will be participating in this all handmade craft fair, on the most romantic day of the year - Ground Hog Day, 2013 will also be my 16th Wedding anniversary. I will be selling Art Dolls, Either Way dolls, Wish Dolls and some sweet Valentine themed mixed media gifts at the Topanga Community House . Very busy sewing and beading. I hope to see you there. It is a fund raiser for the Topanga Community Club park .

#1 Holiday Springs Script #2 GoudyHandtooled I'm thinking of using this as a design for small canvases - then to be embellished. It's a quote I love, from a movie I love. But which font works best? I've narrowed it down to these two. Please comment here or on Facebook.

Friday Sketch - Spring Layout

Image
Trying out a new drawing program on my iPad. It has a bunch of "stamps". I liked it, but not sure it will replace SerifPlus that I use on my PC. Here's an 8.5 x 11 layout. I envisage this as using stencil background elements.

One more ornament, and an idea.

Here's the last of these ornaments for a little while. This is my father-in-law and his good friend. The gent about to make the killer shot, is the person James went to visit in Zimbabwe recently. This must be a good 35 or more years ago however. I'd like to offer a service making custom ornaments for next year. All people would need to do is send me a digital image, and I would do the rest. I already plan to make ornaments of a pet or two, and some decorated boxes. What do you think? Want to plan your own "Family Tree" for next year?
