Fantastic New Writing Assignment

Image
I'm delighted to announce that I will be writing a regular column for Natural Life Magazine about green crafting. Natural Life has been ahead of the curve in publishing useful information about living lightly on the earth, mindful parenting and natural learning for about thirty years, and I'm honored to be part of the Natural Life family. My column begins with the next issue out in July. Along with doll making, I'll be doing a lot more "lab work" and designing here working up what I hope will be helpful ideas and projects to inspire our readers.

Ikeasaurus Auction started

Image
I have donated this Dream Star doll to the Ikeasaurus online auction to assist with the medical expenses for this sweet baby . Even if you aren't interested in my doll, there are a ton of other great things, including vacations, up for auction at the site.

Miss Tick completed

Well here she is, with her toad and her universe exploring device. From "The Wee Free Men" and "A Hatful of Sky". She is muddy from being thrown into ponds and trudging through the country. Her toad initially lives in her hat, which is in disguise with paper flowers, and hiding it's point. The divining device is some sticks tied together, an egg magically pierced, a rock with a hole in it, a pin, a piece of paper, a stump of a pencil and one of Miss Tick's stockings. Off to Judy Skeel for the Doll Street Dreamers AFIC Challenge. I can hardly wait to see how the whole group looks together.
